What sets Head for the Hills, the Georgetown Craft Beer Festival, apart from all other festivals?
We are 100% run by volunteers and donate 100% of proceeds to charity.
There’s never been a better reason to drink beer (and feel good while doing so)!
A special thank you to our premier sponsor:
We would like to thank our beer mug sponsor, Castle Building Centres Group, for helping to make this possible. Without Castle’s generous support, we would not be able to give back so fully to these amazing local groups. Castle is building our community, and building our dreams.
Be sure to say CHEERS with your Castle mug this Saturday September 15th. Learn more about the charities we’re supporting below.
Food4Kids provides healthy, fresh food packages to schoolkids in Halton who are at risk of malnutrition on the weekends and during school breaks. There are more than 500 children in Halton struggling through each weekend without food. Food4Kids wants to feed hope, and fight hunger.
Cancer Assistance Services of Halton Hills (CAShh) provides support and hope to cancer patients, family and friends. CAShh is not associated with any cancer organization, nor do they receive any government grants to fund their services. CAShh is entirely dependent on this community’s generosity and support to do anything possible to help those touched with cancer.
The Georgetown Hospital Foundation seeks and grants funds to purchase items from Georgetown Hospital’s urgent equipment needs list. The goal of Georgetown Hospital Foundation is to place life-saving equipment into the hands of the staff and physicians that we turn to for the care of our friends and our families.
The Trafalgar Sports Park is the venue for the Georgetown Craft Beer Festival, and has been since our very first year in 2015. The Trafalgar Sports Park’s “Field of Dreams” project is a plan to construct of three new baseball diamonds on the site, which would help alleviate a shortage of local venues. The multi-phase project is relying on fundraising and grants to make this dream a reality.
