Head for the Hills Event Retired

After 15 very successful years, the QEII Foundation has decided to retire the annual Head for the Hills event. This decision was not made lightly, as snow enthusiasts built a strong track record for attendance and funds raised from this core event. However, it was time to retire the event at its high point and keep the events program current, unique and innovative.

Head for the Hills has had a huge impact on patient care at the QEII Health Sciences Centre – with over $2.1 million raised in the past 15 years! Funds have supported cardiac research, provided aid to the Brain Repair Centre, and purchased a digital angiography suite for the Eye Care Centre, among other important initiatives.
